  2. Hello!
I am a junior student at Columbia University whose family has lived in Shenzhen since 2003. I am currently reading Learning From Shenzhen. I am fascinated by the book, especially the chapter on urban villages, but at the same time surprised by how little I know of the subject despite living next to them for 14 years. Out of scholarly curiosity as well as personal attachment to Shenzhen, I’ve come up with a few inquiries about Shenzhen’s development and urban villages. I am wondering if you would be interested in some discussion via email regarding the subject? Thank you!
    Best regards,
    Xinghe Pan
